Camilla Twisted Infinity Scarf
In French literature, the camellia is famously associated with La Dame aux Camélias, The Lady of the Camellias by Alexandre Dumas, where it represents love and sacrifice.
Known as the winter rose, it blooms from late November to early April.
The pristine white petals represent unblemished beauty and sincerity.
Introduced to Galicia from the Orient in the late 18th century, it has become the emblematic flower of the Province of Galicia.
Lambswool is a delicate, natural protein fiber that requires gentle care to maintain its softness and shape.
- Soak and hand wash in lukewarm water, max 30ºC without friction nor agitation.
- Do not use fabric softener it compromises the integrity of the fiber.
- Squeeze excess water, never wring the fabric, it will distort the memory of the handwoven textile. Best to roll in a towel to avoid unnecessary pilling. If pilling occurs a wool comb will eliminate any possible fuzz.
- Reshape and dry flat, never hang nor place in a dryer.
- Use Iron in low setting to smooth the fabric.
If necessary, use a delicate, cold machine wash cycle, but hand washing is preferred
*Fun Fact: Lambswool is naturally odor resistant and requires less frequent washing.
