Basic Q & A
If you have additional questions feel free to contact us.
Why so expensive?
We do not charge by the hour, we charge by the complexity and construction of the garment.
Aside from the hours dedicated to making your garment we also have carefully selected the yarns weight and blend from small family owned mills we have been closely working with for the past few years.
Can I send you my own yarn to make the jumper?
Many of us have our favorite fiber and go to brand for handmade jumpers. We understand and are culpable of the reserved luxury yarn stash for that one perfect project.
Sadly, we will not substitute the yarn we have chosen for the ARI Jumper.
We have worked long hours aside from designing sampling yarns for drape, texture, durabilty and design integrity.
We will never commit to substituting a yarn for any of our designs.
Can the neckline be changed?
Maybe, just tell us what you have in mind.
Can it be made into a short sleeve or 3/4 sleeve jumper?
Yes! We only need your measurements.
Can ARI be made into a cardigan?
Not yet, we continue to test. But do let us know you are interested.
Can ARI be made in a different colourway?
NO. If we did, it will no longer be ARI- our tribute to Sargdelos.
Can I send you the mesurements of my favourite sweater to create the ARI Jumper?
NO. The ARI Jumper is modular with texture.
We need your exact measurements for us to do some math and have the correct equation for your personalized fit.
